Are you a business owner trying to juggle all the ins and outs of running a business and need some help with your marketing? Or, maybe you have a laundry list of marketing tasks that aren’t difficult to do but just need some help executing? With the help of some online assistance, you can start checking things off your list and make an impact on your business. The following 5 sites are some of my favorite online tools:
HootSuite – Social Media Management
HootSuite is a great social media management tool that allows you to update your social media platforms from one location. The software is free to use for the basic service, however, you can pay a small monthly fee and add team members and functionality to your social media management. It supports all of the major social media platforms — LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+ and Twitter — and you can integrate others through their suite of content apps, like YouTube and Flickr, Tumblr and more. You can make updates, download reports, communicate with your followers and keep up to speed with social media tactics all through HootSuite’s dashboard.
Fiverr.com – Mundane Tasks, Simple Graphic Design, SEO, Copywriting, etc…
Starting as low as $5, you can shop for just about any kind of project and someone will respond within minutes! Need a poem? Fiverr has someone who will help. Need someone to write a short article? Check out Fiverr. From simple copy writing to logo design to other marketing services, Fiverr is the place to get those little items done for next to nothing. Simply post your request for free and watch the proposals come in.
ELance – Case Studies, White Papers, Videos, Content Writing, Logo Design
Like Fiverr.com, ELance is another place where you can find freelancers to help with your marketing. Though they might cost you a bit more, ELance is full of freelancers with a great pool of talent. You could literally build an entire marketing team through ELance and access the services as need be. Post your needs and freelancers will submit their proposals. Check out their portfolios to get an idea of their work and once you have your subjects selected, you can even manage your team through the website by using their online office space.
Vertical Response – Email Marketing
Compete with the big dogs and look like a rock star using Vertical Response’s email marketing platform. This online software allows you to pay as you go or register for a monthly subscription — whatever route you take, sending emails to your target markets is easy with Vertical Response. The platform makes it easy for users to upload their lists, create email templates and market in no time.
Piktochart – Infographics
Infographics are a fun, informative way to share facts, numbers and details about your company. Piktochart’s online service makes it easy to create these catchy graphics. The free account offers plenty of creative templates but if you a small fee, the sky is the limit. Create an infographic and share it on your social media sites. I actually used this service to create my family’s holiday card!
